Child Development Association
The Child Development Association (CDA) provides affordable childcare and
early learning programs for children of low-income families in the metro
Atlanta area. Their childcare services for children ages three months to 5
years enable hardworking parents to maintain full-time employment to support
their families. The CDA also provides a variety of parent support services,
including parenting education, information and referral, counseling, emergency
assistance, and a comprehensive nutrition program.
The following is a list of ways you can be involved with the
CDA:
- Serve with your
community group.
- Volunteer
individually in one of their ongoing opportunities.
- Register to
receive occasional updates on last-minute or one-time service
opportunities or donation needs.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
There are several ways to volunteer with the CDA as an individual. Those
include:
- Landscaping
- Cleaning the playground equipment
- Reading to children
- Volunteering in a classroom
- Supporting parenting education initiative by providing food, childcare, etc.
